Dr. Brad Silver, DO — Regenerative & Performance Medicine

Dr. Brad Silver brings over a decade of emergency medicine experience to a very different kind of practice: helping men and women recover strength, performance, and vitality through regenerative and hormone-based therapies.
At Forum Health Las Colinas, he specializes in shockwave therapy, the P-Shot, testosterone replacement therapy, and comprehensive performance health evaluations.
He offers shockwave therapy for men experiencing erectile dysfunction, using a non-invasive treatment that improves blood flow and restores natural function without medication or surgery.
For men seeking a more targeted approach to sexual health, Dr. Silver performs the P-Shot (Priapus Shot), a regenerative treatment using the body’s own platelet-rich plasma to improve function and performance.
He also works closely with patients on testosterone and hormone evaluation as part of the clinic’s Men’s Health Program, addressing fatigue, low libido, mood changes, and muscle loss with a full lab workup and a personalized treatment plan.
For patients who want a clear, data-driven picture of where they stand physically, Dr. Silver leads Performance Health evaluations, which include VO₂ max testing, InBody composition analysis, and resting metabolic rate (RMR) — available to both men and women.
Background and Philosophy
Dr. Silver spent over 15 years as a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician at John Peter Smith Hospital, a major Level 1 trauma center, where he also served as clinical faculty training residents. In the ER, he saw firsthand how often chronic issues — fatigue, hormonal changes, low energy, weight gain — went unaddressed at the root, with patients seen only in crisis moments that left no room for deeper investigation. That experience is what drew him to functional medicine, where he could spend real time with patients, explore the “why” behind symptoms, and build care around each person’s actual goals rather than just their symptoms.
“When you come to see me, my job is to look at your whole health. Most doctors focus on one area, but functional medicine lets us dig deeper and connect the dots between all the issues you may be dealing with. If you’ve seen other providers and your problems still aren’t getting resolved, that’s exactly when I can help. Whether you want to improve your weight, energy, hormones, or overall performance, we have tools to support your goals. Ultimately, I want to help you live as long, as healthy, and as happy as possible.” – Dr. Brad Silver
