About Dr. Kyler Elwell
Dr. Kyler Elwell-Silver is a board-certified physician who moved from a successful OB/GYN career into functional medicine to provide deeper, more personalized care than a quick visit allows. Patients were asking for the “why” behind their symptoms and for solutions that last. Functional medicine lets her answer those questions with time, testing, and tailored plans.
Dr. Elwell earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, her MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and completed her OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern. She is also board-certified in obesity medicine, which strengthens her focus on the connections between hormones, metabolism, and overall health.
Her plans often include nutrition, movement, stress management, and targeted hormone adjustments. Patients commonly report better energy, sleep, focus, libido, mood, weight control, and body composition, along with support for long-term cardiometabolic health.
What patients notice most is her genuine care. Dr. Elwell values strong relationships and clear communication, partners closely with each person to address root causes, and adjusts treatment as life changes. Her goal is simple: help you understand what’s happening in your body and create a plan that works in the real world.

About Kam Neal, PA-C
Kam Neal has loved medicine her entire life. She earned a BS in Biology from Southern Nazarene University and a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, then became a certified Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
After years in a high-volume practice, Kam saw how quick refills and brief check-ins rarely helped patients feel better. Her own experience with postpartum hormone imbalance—and being told “everything is normal”—deepened her conviction that people deserve more time, answers, and a real plan.
That led her to functional medicine and an optimal-wellness model. Kam treats the whole person, not just symptoms, using thorough history, targeted labs, and education that empowers patients to participate in their care. She focuses on identifying the root causes of issues such as fatigue, brain fog, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and weight shifts, and then develops step-by-step, sustainable plans.
Patients appreciate Kam’s calm, teacher-at-heart style. She explains the “why,” sets realistic goals, and follows up to fine-tune what’s working. Her mission is to help you feel informed, supported, and steadily better, without guesswork.
